These photos were taken at night in the month of July, during a bad thunderstorm. At first the dark clouds and lightning looked very threatening, but then the clouds took on a little different look, after taking a whole series of photos; it was surprising to see what appears to be the 'Grim Reaper' pointing the finger in the direction of the camera. I wonder what that meant?? Everyone here is still alive, thank goodness. I thought these photos would work well for the end of October. You must click on the photos and enlarge them to see the image.

That's frightening. The image in the last picture seems it didn't want to have its picture taken and trying to snatch your camera.
Please check my entry here.
Yikes, that is spooky! Fantastic captures, Tootie.
Gah! Those photos made the skin on the back of my neck crawl! Excellent shots of such a dramatic and frightening sky!

Oh, these are awesome captures!
awesome - spooky!
Real mystic thunderstorm shots. My favourite is # 3. Clouds are looking like a giant shadow in the sky.
Have a nice SWF
These are so surreal. Outstanding.
What an interesting set of photos -- I am seeing a figure develop in the last two images...
Holy cow, that is super creepy!!!! Wow! What a storm!
Perfect photos for October! Great post!!
Tootie: Those are really something. a perfect post for this time of year. I love it, was a hurricane sheduled to come and see you? Those are some neat clod effects.
Beautiful, in a scary way (but isn't true beauty always a little fierce?)
Great photos, good composition and good job capturing the mood.
Love the third one, there really is a spooky figure looming out of the clouds. Eeek!
Wow... those are some angry skies. What a dramatic series of photos!
Brrr, looks scary to me.What a strange cloud, looks like a big dark angel with black wings pointing right at you.I guess one can make it look like anything.

Incredible Sky Watch Photos! I didn't realize Tootie was the same person as Sanibel Toot. :-) I always love your beautiful photography of the beaches there, but these sky photos were just so dramatic! Thanks for coming by my site, also!
