I hope you get some pleasure from seeing the beautiful Sanibel sky. Every sunrise and sunset is different. On rainy days we usually see clouds with the sun shinning behind them and many times a rainbow.

Exploding Horizon
With the heavy cloud cover, I think the setting sun looked like an explosion on the horizon.
That is a terrific shot. I love how the orange glow is sandwiched between the sea and clouds. Really stunning. You're lucky to see such beautiful skies. Greetings from Northern California.
I will say this again, you are blessed to live in such a beautiful place! I enjoyed scrolling down to see your other pics, too. I love the ones with lots of water, too.
